Details of Target Audience

Our film would be something that anyone could go to see and enjoy regardless of their age and gender. That being said, if we were to identify the exact target audience it would be mainly males of an age range between 15 and 50 years old. This is based primarily on the themes that exist in the film; guns, violence and drugs. Society’s ideology is that males are much more likely to be entertained by these themes then females, hence why it would make better business sense to market the film towards the male demographic above.

Although our research suggests the demographic we should aim our film at is female, our ideas are based on other successful films and the paths they took in order to maximise box office sales.
